Hey friends, well come back to my Vlog section. Today I will write a short article on 3 tips you can use to lose weight. This is something that I have tried and its slowly working. Hope you like it and share with friends and family. As we all know when we were kids our parents always told us to eat all our food on our plates, but we never complaint about the size of the plate or the size of the portions we were consuming. So the tip #1 : Learn to eat using a smaller plates to serve your meals, this will help you eat less amounts off food, so your not over stuffing your self. This will help condition your mind to eat less.
Tip #2 has to be the easiest one of my 10. Its simple people, Our body is composed of Up to 60% of water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. So you tell me what will happen if you only drink soda or sweets drink. So please make sure you consume 1-2 gallons of water a day to keep your body running and hydrated properly. dehydration kills your energy, so drink up! stay charge up! Has to be one of the hardest one to get use to doing. As we are accustom to eating 3 meals a day ( Breakfast,Lunch, Dinner). The 1st part of this, maybe time consuming because you have to prepare you meals in advance, which can take time. Remember this, you only fail because you failed to plan, just like a test if you don't study or prepare you wont get a good grade or in this case you wont reach your goal. Once you have your meals prepped, Try to eat them every 2-3 hours, and remember your having 4-5 small meals thru out the day , to keep your metabolism working and helping it speed up, Now take your daily calorie intake and divide by 4 or 5 meals to establish your meals calories per intake. Example: I only eat 2400 calories a day divide that by 5 small meals, means each meal would only be 480 calories. Once you get used too it , you will see results and not feel hungry. and always drink water!. These are my 3 nutrition tips for today. As I continue to learn I will continue to share my findings with my friends, family and followers. With a little education we can fight this weight loss war. Hope this helps. Hey Guys, Just wanted to share some information about what I was doing before I ran this 15K at the Sin City Shoot Out @ Sunset park on 1/17/2016. I have been running for almost 2 years now, I can remember when I first ran a 5K it was at 65 minutes. Last year I completed a total of (15) 5K, So I told my self that in 2016 I was stepping it up and doing 10K all year long. So let's start. As of 1/1/2016 I began to incorporate different exercise that would allow me to lose more weight but also save my joints from putting to much impact in them. I started to use the cycle, then the elliptical. Now these two machine are my best friends. I work out at Fitness 10, which is located on Decatur & Sahara. I work out early morning. Its a great, affordable place to go work out! I recommended it. Click on the photo to check out their website! Ok, prior to me racing I had to submit an Sponsorship Application that GVP had on their website for the Sin City Shoot Out! this was so I can receive a sponsorship to race with out having to pay. I continued with my workouts, then a few weeks later I received an email from GVP, letting me know that I was accepted and that they would allow me to race. I was super happy. Thanks GVP! After receiving this news! I was supper happy. I thank god first off, letting him know that with out his strength, guidance, none of this would be possible. So for the next 2 weeks I decide to put in extra effort in my routine and to push myself with running, nothing will stop me from completing my 1st 10K. The time finally came for me to go pick up my race packet, the pick-up place was at the beautiful and elegant LAS VEGAS TROPICANA CASINO! This place was crawling with tons of athletes getting set for a weekend of competitions, from baseball, football, bowling, darts, wrestling, and many others sports. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Patti Miller, Jeremy, and Dave from GVP. It's Race Day! I woke up at 4:50Am. I started with a nice stretch making sure all my body was fully flexible before the race that morning. I prepare my gear, got my cameras ready, then got dress, and started listening to some motivation audio to get my mind right for the big race at 7am. I checked the temperature outside and it was 34 degrees making it a cold morning. But still I will not quit, I came to far. Soon after my girlfriend & younger brother David finished getting ready we head out. They came to show support. Thank you guys! So As I get closer to Sunset Park, 5 minutes before pulling up. I realized that I left my running shoes at home. Now I'm freaking out and I want to drive back but if I do that I would miss my race. I decide to run with what I was wearing. Shoes don't make the Runner, the Runner makes the shoes...LOL. I was wearing bib #229, I felt great and ready to go knock this out of the park. I was all in black! I was able to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunrise with my loved ones. This was a magical moment and I knew I was ready. As more people showed up they started to get everyone in the place to start the race promptly. So let go watch and see what happens! ON YOUR MARK! GET SET! GO!Thank you for reading and I hope you love this Video! Never stop running for your goals, always go after them and always #RUN4U |
